My advocate has sent a legal notice to @IndianExpress yesterday in light of recent events.
@himantabiswa @IndianExpress Sir pl don't accept their apology and don't spare them.
It is deeply concerning to witness the erosion of journalistic integrity, with some so-called esteemed newspapers succumbing to baseless allegations and political bias in pursuit of sensationalism. The noble purpose of journalism, to inform and hold power to account, is tarnished when newspapers engage in character assassination of elected officials, such as a Chief Minister. This trend not only undermines the trust of the public in the media but also poses a threat to the democratic fabric of society. It is imperative for journalists to uphold ethical standards and strive for balanced, objective reporting, rather than becoming tools for political agendas and sensationalism.
@himantabiswa @IndianExpress This notice is pure Grand Standing and nothing else. He has refuted the News article but has failed to produce any substantial evidence in support of his denial . Question remains , Has all the corruption cases against Himanta been closed ?
