I appreciate the truth of this being raised. Well said. Far, far too much time has been wasted on bathroom rows whilst these medical atrocities take place on the public purse, with next to no exposure. But how is it possible, @BevJacksonAuth asks? Because of the manipulation of international and national law to suit utopian socialist and minority interests, harnessed by exploitative big business, in a destructive culture war against majority common sense and some key traditional values and democratic principles. The tragedy of Jason Arday is that he was both built up and destroyed by the ruthless machinery of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). The academy made him into the golden boy of its philistine project of ‘decolonisation’ and gave not one thought to what the consequences might be if his thin story unravelled, as it inevitably would. No one can deny it now: wokeness makes false gods and real tragedies. . . This is the poison chalice of the state religion of diversity. It lays traps for the very people it celebrates. It handpicks members of ‘the oppressed’ for moral anointment and institutional gushing while leaving them open to exposure as others start to query their credentials. That’s the toxic bargain of identity politics: it builds teetering pedestals for ethnic-minority thinkers, meaning their fall from grace is often twice as fatal. And what a pedestal they made for Arday. They worshipped him as ‘the best in the world’. They beatified him as a black wunderkind whose very presence in a place like Cambridge might help to wash away its sins of whiteness. They canonised him as a living monument to ‘decolonisation’. It was precisely this, their giddy, narcissistic desire to manufacture a kind of black saviour, that made them turn a blind eye to the questionable elements of Arday’s CV and life story. They sacrificed their due diligence to the god of decolonisation. And Arday suffered. He was both poster boy and sacrificial lamb of the diversity crusade. Even as he gained from it – reaching the dizzying heights of a Cambridge professorship – he was being damned by it. The foundation of myth and sand his starry career was built on was untenable. Its collapse was a given. It is a testament to the ideological blindness of the inhabitants of our ivory towers that none of them foresaw it. . . . The Faustian ruthlessness of it all is mindblowing. . . . The media is the only institution in this entire tragic scandal that did its job properly. Journalists found a story and they told it. It was the academy and Arday’s colleagues who failed to do their jobs. Who failed to prize merit over identity, and failed to foresee the public embarrassment that would befall their falsely promoted friend. They ignored the truth – the media found it. I and others have been arguing for years that the politics of identity is a disaster for all, black and white alike. White kids are overlooked, black kids are patronised. Whites are branded ‘privileged’, blacks ‘oppressed’. Whites are seen as the beneficiaries of historic crimes who must atone for past sins, blacks as history’s perma-victims who require the gracious helping hand of the state. We are demonised or infantilised according to the accident of our race. Enough. Let our monument to Jason Arday be the restoration of the true ideal of equality. Jason Arday’s death is tragic. But please spare us the sanctimonious complaints that he was merely an ‘obscure’ academic who was the victim of a racist witch-hunt. The probing and questioning and exposure were entirely legitimate. Arday was plainly guilty of plagiarism. He had also made a series of fantastical claims about his life and career. He ended up being appointed as a professor at one of the world’s most august seats of learning – where his students, who had worked extremely hard to get there, were paying large fees for the privilege of being taught by him. Far from being obscure, Arday had happily engaged with the media over many years, often repeating his false claims. He appeared on numerous TV shows and guest edited Radio 4’s flagship Today programme. He even carried the Olympic torch. Moreover, he had secured a major publishing deal for his autobiography, which was set to be released in Britain and the US just as the scandal broke. By no measure was this man ‘obscure’. When a fellow academic in Plymouth began to question his credentials, Arday (or someone close to him) made a complaint to the police. When a journalist from Times Higher Education started investigating, he was subjected to a police inquiry and also received a threatening letter from the leading libel solicitors, Carter Ruck. Arday and those around him were clearly not averse to hounding others when they felt like it. It’s very possible that Arday did not have sufficient support measures in place when he was finally exposed – but that’s on others. The investigation and questions amounted to legitimate journalistic inquiry. This was never just about Arday’s fabulism. It was also about the increasingly controversial philosophy of DEI, the obsession of our political, corporate and educational institutions with pushing that philosophy, and how it might have led to someone with Arday’s subpar credentials being appointed in the first place. These are all valid questions to ask – and, by asking them, journalists are simply doing their jobs.

This is an astounding move… Could any medical body better communicate ‘please don’t sue us, but do let us keep our delusional game for those who still want to indulge us’ any louder without writing it in bold capital letters on the side of a blimp? But the game is up. In this contribution they have collapsed their bogus medical claims into a mere ideological debate. There really is no legitimate way forward in medical science from there. But how fascinating that Cass has been set up as the supposed counter opinion - giving us a false choice between those who would have it be compulsory to medicate each and every ‘trans’ identifying child in the West, and a paediatrician who says let’s experiment with medicating only a select few of them instead… What kind of hideous choice is that? A truer counter opinion to WPATH might be that they are bunch of dangerous, unregulated quacks… a collection of nutcases, ideologues and perverts who took over the asylum and got to write the textbook on their own madness, including misleading Cass… and so they need chasing right out of medicine, if not to be thrown in prison! Cass’s Review - informed as it was by a former board member of WPATH politicshome.com/thehouse/artic… - who mused in an article whether he might come to be blamed for the terrible atrocity that has taken place in Western medicine nypost.com/2022/04/15/tra… - now takes on an even darker role it seems; that of providing WPATH with a politicised off-ramp. Cass’s own politicised response is being used to hold us in a kind of fabricated limbo between believing in ubiquitous gender medication of all ‘trans’ children vs a more cautious approach - but all the time never letting us address that the ‘trans’ child construct is entirely a delusion and so to medicate it is always an atrocity.

No, it’s not “Pride Month.” Not for me, and not for millions of others. You’re welcome to be proud of whatever you want, in any month you like—because this is America. But what started in 1969 as a rebellion against persecution, morphed into a license for public depravity, and then morphed again into a weapon aimed at families and innocent children. Along the way it went from a day, to a week, and then a month and became official, and thereby effectively mandatory for all. Enough! If you’re gay and wondering why you are facing resistance now, the answer is that, with few exceptions, most of you didn’t stand up against the expansion and weaponization of “pride,” and the coercion that went with it. In that failure to resist, the gay community compromised any expectation that the rest of us should support “pride” at all, but especially the obscene display of hostility toward civilization and the families of which it is built, and for whom it exists. If your hackles are raised by the idea that civilization is about families, realize that families are how civilizations persist through time. Not everyone needs to form one, but we all must respect and protect them—It is the foundation of what it means to be civilized. For the small fraction of gays and lesbians who DID courageously stand up and resist expansion, coercion and the weaponization of “Pride,” I stand with you, and I have all along. The UK PSHE and RSHE curriculum is a masterclass in state sponsored left wing feminism and left wing nonsense generally, including LGBT, Protected classes, victimhood ideology and intersectionality cobblers. It'd not education it is indoctrination. It treats children as poorly and in need of being "made well" It's that simple. It's an exercise in therapy dressed up as teaching. Biased, loaded and ideological, deeply anti-human and mistrustful of people. My best advice is remove your children from every section you can and then arm them against the rest. Learn what you need to and do it quick.
