Asian history Sunday Did sushi actually come China!? #Hearmiaout #asianhistorysunday #sea #sushi #sashami #japan #china 🇨🇳 🇯🇵
Japanese are the original Han Chinese (albeit some Ainu mix) they just thought they are more pure so they raided China during WW2 thinking they can save the Asian race from European colonialism. They copy everything from China from writing system to architecture. That was why Disney’s Mulan design team originally researched Japanese castles because the original Chinese castles were the blueprint of Japanese architecture but were burned to the ground war after war, invasion after invasion.
@hearmiaout Narezushi - fermentation of the whole fish (pickled) on a bed of rice tasting a bit sour, which has been said to have started in China in the 4th century. Most cities tho, in China are not accessible to the sea. They don’t have a culture of eating seafood, much less RAW seafood.
@hearmiaout Fish back then had to be fermented as there was no refrigeration. The "origin" of sushi (the way we know sushi) is from Japan.. Otherwise we;'re just talking about eating fermented fish with raw rice. Pungent & gross.
@hearmiaout I really do wonder if true, gonna remain neutral on this one till further evidence.
@hearmiaout Salted fish is a stable in very early China delicacy . Still a stable today, especially the salted fish chicken fried rice. Japan sure did refined it.
@hearmiaout Sushi did come from China. They added salt and vinegar to fish and rice to survive long voyages.
@hearmiaout 1. Fukushima water release 2. Tapeworm 3. Can't afford it. 4. Taste...hyping?
@hearmiaout It is said that it originated in Southeast Asia and was introduced to China, and then to Japan along with rice cultivation.
