2/ Using the extensive 🐭 🧠#MICrONS Cortical MM^3 #ElectronMicroscopy dataset by @AllenInstitute, we found that about 20% of #microglia form direct contacts with #bloodvessels, bypassing the #astrocyteendfeet layer. We termed these contact points “plugs”. microns-explorer.org/cortical-mm3
