U.S. Supreme Court ruled to uphold it in June: 1st preference is placement with a child’s extended family. The 2nd preference is with the child’s tribe or foster home approved by the tribe, and the 3rd is Native homes outside the child’s tribe. #IndigenousSoveregnty #Brackeen 2/2
