We’re here. Expect us We won’t be bullied be billionaires. VOTE NO #KC
@hartzell965 @KCTenants Do you want teams in kc or not?
You will lose millions for the city of Kansas City by voting NO ! There will be no charities raising money from players. You’re absolutely in the wrong to vote NO & lose Millions from taxed players salaries & charities. You are not informed of what will happen to this city if we lose our teams to other states.
Imagine you were the landlord of a shop that made a lot of money for the community. Your Tennant proposed that he would put up around half the money to modernize and improve your property. All you had to do was pay for the other half. Would you still vote no? Would you say the Tennant is rich they should pay all the money to renovate Your property? In business terms the Hunt Family would be crazy to stay and pay for everything if this doesn't pass. I've gone on record criticising the Hunts for penny pinching as regards facilities etc but this isn't that. Every city contributes to the franchise in some way, it's normal. KC benefit much more than they pay out financially. Losing the Franchise would be a massive loss to KC both financially and culturally .
@hartzell965 @KCTenants NOT by billionaires nor sold out politicians like Alcalde Q
@hartzell965 @KCTenants If you think this tax doesn't positively effect the surrounding area you are incorrect. Take Inglewood, CA. The moment SOFI started being built property values increased, new supportive construction began bringing more new jobs, etc etc. These projects help communities.
@hartzell965 @KCTenants Who generates the $30-$40 million per year that the players pay that disappears from the Jackson County budget when the Royals and Chiefs are playing in Kansas? You want better infrastructure and busses and whatever else, who funds that when that huge chunk of money goes away?
@hartzell965 @KCTenants The issue should not be the Money, the issue should be the location where the money is being spent. Why can't they just build a new stadium on the land they already have? They could turn that whole area into a Sport Complex for the City. And have room for a new Chief Stadium.
