On the Corcoran ruling from the DC appellate court, which is fairly devastating for Trump, reports are that he may not appeal to Sup Ct, as he normally might be expected to do. Only diff is a few days anyway-- Court wouldn't take the case.
@harrylitman Why wouldn't they? I know you know who is on there. Surely we are not still pretending these "jurists" are above politics?
@harrylitman could Cocoran give documents yet plea the 5th ?
@harrylitman So far nothing has been devastating for tump has it? Merrick is enjoying watching as time goes by I am sure. My opinion.
@harrylitman End of options to delay. Sad.
@harrylitman You had me at "devastating for Trump". I liked this tweet right then and there.
@harrylitman @TracyCh86248594 No way he doesn't appeal. No way.
@harrylitman That thing seems too good to be true for the govt. I mean a district and appellate court saying there is prima facie evidence of crime-fraud in the atty-client relationship. What worse can happen to a subject? Could DOJ itself go to SCOTUS as a reality check?
@harrylitman Corcoran probably thinks he has done enough appealing to make sure that tfg isn't able, in any way shape or form, to hit him with a lawsuit.
@harrylitman Wasn’t there an administrative stay with Justice Thomas that lasted like a week back with some of the “special master” stuff? I’m surprised Trump wouldn’t appeal. Beyond making the Chief Justice privy to this part of the case, I’m not sure how it would hurt him to appeal.
