Tanzania's new US$14.2 billion electric railway had its trial run from Dar-es-Salaam to Morogoro. Trip advertised to take 1hr15min at 160km/hour. In the test the train never ran above 40km/hour, and trip took 5 hours. However, the interior was comfy, riders said.
