Paraguay 2022 census removing 14% of what they thought was their population probably had the most amazing government briefings before it was published. Yeah, hmmm, like slightly more then 1/10 of us apparently don't exist. Sorry about that, now go and rebalance the budget.

@MostlyMonkey Spending a billion seems kind of easy. This DaVinci of let's just say marginal provenance gets you 45% of the way there. Like add mega yacht or two, and probably pretty easy to hit in less than 10 items.

@atlanticesque I don't even think AI will do what it claims it will be able to do, but if an industry says this is our goal, and that goal would make your life substantially worse being shocked that people would oppose it is kind of illogical.

@atlanticesque AI marketing when fundraising is literally look were going to replace many of your employees with machines. Like that's their sales pitch, you can't have that as the sales pitch and then complain when people oppose replacing themselves.

@ingelramdecoucy It is a tragedy that by the time it was completed the project was had become irrelevant to the people it was meant to serve. Reminds me of 2009 when we finally transitioned to digital instead of analog television broadcasting.

@zagrebbi Classics being at the top is not terribly shocking. Its kind of like philosophy majors where the jokes are easy to do, but your selecting for a certain kind of person at 17 who chooses that as an option, and they tend to be very bright.
