Today's firmware release enables Lattice1 hardware #wallets and SafeCards to store an encrypted copy of your seed phrase 🥳 This simple addition makes SafeCards the most secure and complete solution for backing up your private keys available. 🧵 with details and a discount 👇
Plain text seed phrase backups are a major source of lost user funds 😯 It doesn't make sense that #crypto users are putting the keys to their life's savings on slips of paper — and that they can lose it all if someone simply snaps a picture of them ⛔️
With #SafeCards, it's now easy to securely make copies of your keys and seed phrases for an unlimited number of wallets 🗝️ Simply copy and restore PIN-protected accounts as needed ✅
We take our responsibility to empower you to truly self-custody your assets very seriously. SafeCard backups enable reliable and safe recovery of your keys and seed phrase without dependence on our #hardware, thanks to open-source recovery tools 🛠️ github.com/GridPlus/safec…
This incredible new feature is available on all new Lattice1s and SafeCards ⚡️ Even with an older #Lattice1, new cards will support this feature 🙌 Until Feb 15th, SafeCard packs are 50% off with code SAFERBACKUPS — upgrade and experience the magic ✨ gridplus.io/products/safe-…
@gridplus This is so great!!! I mean the device is still one of the best desktop wallets and receive updates regularly. For my memory: where can we order more safeCards ?
How do we know if we own older version cards or new? Is there a version on the back? If I have old versions does it mean I need to upgrade to new to get the export functionality using a card reader? How do I know I have a new lattice1 or an old one. I thought lattice1 wasn’t updated.
@gridplus I just bought some before the promo. Oh well, buying some more to backup my other wallets.
@gridplus Wow love the revolutionary form factor. Y'all gonna destroy duopoly of ledger and trezor. Here's a $silly dragon meme
