Trains have been authorized to travel through the affected area at reduced speeds while the work continues. Hi Tsuenami , replacement buses for the cancelled 11:26 a.m. Mount Joy–Union Station train will stop at Markham GO (Main St. near Station St.) and continue to Unionville GO before running express to Union Station. We are really sorry for the inconvenienced caused due to the delay on the Lakeshore West line.
The delay was caused because the suspension of the Lake shore West line, Earlier, a person was struck by a train near Clarkson GO. The area continues to be in the hands of emergency personnel. Scheduled trains that are delayed by 15 minutes or more may qualify for a refund or reimbursement within a 30 days time period there after.
As such, please be sure to submit a request within 30 days of the affected trip to receive reimbursement equal to the fare paid at the link below.
