used the @Replit AI today to start a non-trivial web app, quite impressed. However, about 7 bucks in, I learned the important lesson to START in the Agent mode but swap to the much cheaper Assistant mode for tweaking and editing 🥺

@samuelcolvin Honestly, pre uv, I never had an issue with pip etc. i think people can’t be arsed reading then blame the language. Talking about rust tooling though, was writing tests the other day and gods is it behind Python native or pytest.
the latest @github Copilot in @code has some nice model options, and the Edit/Agent interface is giving @cursor_ai and @windsurf_ai a run for my money! (Meh I do pay for all 3 though😂)

@adkravetz @pdrmnvd I use direnv, there is a setup at github.com/direnv/direnv/… This activates the venv as soon as you enter the folder. Unless your on windows mind.
BTW, you can migrate from Poetry to uv in 5-10 min 🚀 uv uses the standard pyproject.toml format used by almost all others, Hatch, PDM, Flit... (except Poetry) 🤓 You can use another tool (PDM) to migrate the configs to this standard 📜 It's 4 steps, check below👇️

$10K in 24 hours 🤯 How is this even possible? 🤯 Qazi and I, just 24 hours ago at 8:00 PM, on Tuesday September 12th were going about our day masterminding, talking about how we can grow Poppy. Next thing you know: 👉 A message comes in with a sale, $200. Okay, cool, $200. Not bad. 👉 30 minutes later, another sale, $200. Whoa, what's going on? 👉 Another ten minutes in, another sale, $200. What the actual fuck? 🤑 We end up calling each person and find out that these people are coming from a TikTok video that one of our customers and hard core power user Sophie made. She was talking about Poppy AI and how she's using it for all her research and content creation. She said it's like a website that is "illegal to know" and she didn't even want to share it with anybody else. At that time, the video had about 15,000 views. The sales keep coming. Every 10-15 minutes, a new sale comes in. Qazi and I could not believe it. As the video grows, the sales grow. Every 5,000 views, one new sale. It's 2:00 AM at this point, and the sales are still going We can't even go to sleep haha We're talking to every customer, messaging every customer, figuring out why they're buying this product. 💰
