Exactly what the media deserves. NOTHING. You will never get anything authentic from him or any other 20-something Athlete because you're too busy telling them what they should do, say, or laugh at. Well done.

Arch got 19 questions and gave less than a minute in total answers after being ripped for laughing at a meme. Watch this. This is what bogus media criticism creates, what incentive do athletes have to be honest? Zero.

And just like that, you will never get a fun interview with him again. You can’t have it both ways. Yall fry people when they say one thing you don’t like. Don’t complain when they give boring interviews.

Ed Sheeran reading a pre-written statement on the war in Israel and Gaza isn’t him being a puppet, it’s wisdom. It’s impossible to summarize 5,000 years of Middle Eastern tension into a digestible 50 second speech for the western world. There’s nothing he could say to appease everyone, but he took time out from his show, which many criticizing didn’t even buy a ticket to and attempted to speak. There are nerves associated with speaking to 60,000 people on a complex political issue you aren’t professionally informed on. At the end of the day, he’s a pop star. Yet we demand more accountability and nuance from @edsheeran than we do our actual politicians. If you’ve written a tweet to slander, write a check to help. If you’ve visited the comments to hate, visit the Middle East to help. Our world won’t change because a pop star gave a speech, or lack thereof, it’ll change because of the intentional actions of all of us.

Ed played to a completely sold out arena, gave a compassionate speech, and got a standing ovation with his new musicians; people of integrity who stood by him amidst an avalanche of completely unjustified abuse. Perhaps most importantly, as he says below, he is now left with an understanding of who his true friends are. This is a clarity I know all too well and that I'm most grateful for. In every way that truly matters, he won. The authoritarian bullies lost. Good for him.

Ed Sheeran’s band cancelled on him. So he walked out anyway and delivered in front of thousands. No excuses. No delay. Just a superstar doing the job. That’s how you handle a problem in front of a live crowd.

Who wins the sleep science battle tonight?!? 49ers: Showed up to Australia a week ago. Have slowly adjusted but not fully as 17 hour time shift requires 17 days to adjust. Rams: Left LA on Tuesday night. Slept on plane. Woke up at 2am Aussie time this morning in hotel. Tricking their bodies into thinking they never left pacific time zone. Have been testing this for two years. I’ve been thinking about this matchup all day. It has the sleep science community split.

I was wrong about Lindsay Clancy. Here’s why I changed my mind. She was never diagnosed with postpartum depression or psychosis. She was not on 13 medications at once. She was not “hearing voices.” She was not abandoned by her family. She was diagnosed with a mood disorder - never psychosis - and went to a variety of doctors who all prescribed different medications, which she took unreliably and not simultaneously. She only heard a voice one time - and that was right before she killed her kids. Extremely atypical for psychosis. She carefully planned her children’s murders down to the minute. She researched the distance of a restaurant she’d ask Patrick to go to. Added on a last-minute errand before he left. Calmly answered his phone call in the middle of her crime. Brought her children down to the basement one by one, overpowering their resistance and killing them slowly. It does seem like she had support from her family. She may have still been overwhelmed, but it’s not true that all of her cries for help went unanswered. I originally placed too much blame on the many SSRIs she was prescribed. For years on my show, I’ve talked to health professionals who have been warning about the violence-inducing effects of these drugs, and I thought Lindsay’s case may be an example of that reality. Is it still possible these SSRIs had a negative effect? Absolutely. But the case that these drove her into a psychotic episode is weak. This evidence continues to reveal, in my opinion, that Lindsay Clancy methodically murdered her children and she was fully aware of what she was doing.

Unlike the “masculinity crisis,” when women perform the exact same thing with public displays of rage, filmed for an audience, monetized by the algorithm, we don't call it a crisis. We call it brave. We call it liberation. @karakclairmont explains how the TikTok moms finding solidarity with Lindsay Clancy have gone insane. Read her latest piece here: thefp.com/p/the-moms-tik…
