Monday is an important day for our nation. For the first time ever, a criminal former president of the United States will be tried for his crimes and judged by a jury of his peers. This trial represents real progress on the assertion that “no person is above the law.”
@glennkirschner2 Sadly, have to disagree. A rich and powerful white man has delayed and derailed justice for three years while dismantling and making a mockery of justice, while the world watches.
@glennkirschner2 Odds are trump will violate the gag order....because that's what he does....he pushes the envelope...Why? because Ex president Spanky Pants thinks the judges are too afraid to put him in jail...but Judge Merchan may use his authority and change that!
@glennkirschner2 Finally we will see justice. Will he be locked up at Rikers?????
@glennkirschner2 But unfortunately the law is quite targeted at out-of-favor individuals, and ignores most everyone else. There's a word for that.
