This is something that sounds like common knowledge but isn’t. You have to keep up the momentum - slow is smooth & smooth is fast.
Being a business leader is knowing that you need to be thinking 24 - 36 months ahead (minimum).
That’s how you know you’re spending enough time in decision making gatherings and conversations.
Email etiquette is knowing that when responding to an email you shouldn’t be including stakeholders that have no context of the conversation.

Her colleague jumped in: “That’s Notion. I love Notion.”
We ended up spending 20 minutes demoing Notion AI. I had them describe what they hoped Notion could do while recording with AI Meeting Notes, then asked the Notion Agent to write a prompt from the transcript and build their use case. He had to take a walk outside to process what he’d just seen.

The only real way to find something out is to do it.
Working in operations means you’re deliberately signing up for a world of uncertain challenges.
No 2 days are the same but you 100% choose how you react to what’s thrown at you.
it's a skill that comes from practice and experience. first, you monitor everything and then look for patterns - if there's a pattern, follow the pattern and stay flexible

Every person who works in tech needs least 5 non tech friends to interact with closely on a weekly basis so they can understand how the general public actually thinks
people who do the work don't do too much on their portfolio or resumes and this is coming from reviewing thousands of resumes - after a while, you look at a resume and you can almost tell if they did the work or not.
