I’m so mad and furious right now. Cebuanos prepared so well. We stocked up on the basics and daily necessities ahead of time. But because of these substandard flood control projects, we’re once again left in this devastating situation. Areas that were never prone to flooding are now underwater. People are still trying to recover from the earthquake, and now we’re facing this again. I truly admire the resilience of the Cebuanos, but this shouldn’t always be about resilience.
