Huge eye roll here. I’ve reported all along that the lacerated spleen is a legitimate, serious injury. There’s been no shenanigans. But man, Stone coming back to practice for second year in a row one week before playoffs is some seriously fortuitous timing.

@frank_seravalli Nobody’s arguing the injury isn’t legit. The argument is that if hes healthy enough for game 1 of the playoffs, he’s almost certainly healthy enough for game 82.
@frank_seravalli He’s not cleared for contact, likely a ways away from playing. Problem with him skating ?
@frank_seravalli This is becoming to the NHL what gambling is to MLB. The third rail of credibility.
@frank_seravalli Yeah Frank.. fortuitous…
@frank_seravalli It's Vegas, luck is always on the house's side 😂
@frank_seravalli The notion that he wouldn't have been healthy in time for the playoffs had they started this week is laughable. That the NHL allows such transparent manipulation is yet another way in which the NHL is a joke of a league.
@frank_seravalli I don't think you're out of line for calling a spade a spade here Frank. Supposedly 3-6 month recovery time for a lacerated spleen and he's back on the ice in seven weeks. Whatever the NHL's process is with respect to monitoring and investigating injuries, Vegas is exempt.
