The mistake most ppl make is lifting purely for “looks”. You don’t change day to day so it becomes stale and ppl lose passion Turn it into a video game. Train for the purpose of getting stronger/faster/more athletic, it’s a lot more fun honestly at least in my experience. I also incorporate flexibility/yoga and stuff like that Also, another thing I see in ppl that get bored is a limited routine. Adding new activities can help one rediscover their love for gym
