@wimpsanderson1 his name is Johnny Groves, Sr at Edgewood Academy in the river region. Also played at 6A Stanhope Elmore. Coach Buzz Phillips whom your sons may know from the college circles helped coach him. Coach Scott Phillips is the HC.

@ColeFred24 @ESPNStatsInfo Don't be mad 😂 (hater?). Bama is a football school & college basketball has changed. Coach is good (I like the AU coach too, but players have changed, even in the last 10 years). Sadly, football is changing too & I watch les & less every year. HS athletics still appeals to me.

@ColeFred24 Bama called the TO to make him overthink it. Problem with Jimbo it's the same that Spurrier had in his latter days of coaching: arrogance & absolute control. Saban has relaxed a lot with the years. Jimbo has been in the business longer than people realize & he's got more tense.
