Spent the past month on the idea underneath Hypit. Today there are two ways to make a video with AI. Editors (Premiere, CapCut): paste clips on a canvas, in order. Fine for stitching, hopeless for motion graphics. Code (Remotion, HyperFrames): any motion you want, but every video is one-off, and every timestamp is hard-coded. Regenerate the voiceover, rewrite 300 numbers. Hypit keeps what's good in both and drops the rest: Give semantics to the timeline, not the timeline to semantics. Motion hangs on words. The card pops on "this", the ranking flips on "number one". New voice, new script, new person: nothing to re-time. Give layers to the canvas, not the canvas to layers. Anything worth being a component is one: captions, boards, insets. Built once, reused in every clone. So a new video is: swap the face, swap the product, render. Not one second of editing. 🪸
