From the headquarters of AIRBUS helicopters yesterday, near Marseille, earlier today we travelled to the headquarters of AIRBUS AIRCRAFTS located in the southwest region of Occitanie, near the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. The aircrafts manufacturing giants are eager to do business in Nigeria and I made a few openings remarks to the top echelon of the company before we heard their presentations and before we also made a guided tour of their facility.
@fkeyamo This guy is so desperate to kick Ethiopia air out of Nigeria
Norwegian low-cost airline called Norse Atlantic will provide crew and aircraft to Air Peace for its Lagos-London operations. Norse Atlantic will link Lagos to London – an unusual service for the Nigerian airline, which usually flies from Europe to the United States and the Caribbean. On February 20, 2024, Air Peace, Nigeria’s flag carrier, announced that it would commence direct flight operations from Lagos to Gatwick airport in London, from March An ACIM contract also known as wet or damp leasing, is an agreement between two airlines, where the lessor of block hours operated. Norse will also provide maintenance and insurance to Air Peace
@fkeyamo The wet lease idea is the cheapest option for Airpeace *in Europe*. That is because they would be able to harvest cheaper insurance and Euro control rates. It would be more expensive to dry lease and operate outside of Europe. This is a strategy Airpeace wants to use
@fkeyamo This is a positive development but my fear is all the red tapes and corruption within the industry. Hopefully Airbus would come to Nigeria
@fkeyamo Hon. Min. Sir. It’s good to see you’re promoting Nigeria but let me draw your attention to something, these guys will never do business with you. Why? You can’t be seriously selling Nigeria to corporate world with your hands in your pocket. Na statistics these ones dey chop o! ✌🏽
@fkeyamo I believe in you sir and l hope to see Nigeria and airways soon
@fkeyamo Oyinbos don’t rely on motivational talks, they rely on data, evidence based information. They also have ways and means of verifying information especially from Africa. Not convincing.
