White men thinking they’ve been the victims of racism are the dumbest/funniest people on this app.
@ffweeklypod Ironically, this statement is racist. Yes, white people experience racism. If you’re discriminated against based on your race, you experience racism. This isn’t difficult to comprehend.
@ffweeklypod 10 years ago at a job in Utah, I had a middle-aged white lady tell me she felt badly for me because white men were the most discriminated against now. I replied that as a father of biracial children, I didn't share the same view.
@ffweeklypod this is literally racism though? discriminating against people for their race is in fact, racism.
@ffweeklypod Literally impossible to be racist to someone towards whom the system is geared to be sympathetic.
@ffweeklypod I've experienced racism/prejudice as that demographic, but I'm not going to pretend it's done anything to negatively affect my life systemically. And that's the point, they have experienced racism, but it's just hurt feelings, not exclusion from society like POC experience.
@ffweeklypod I kind of agree…. But I believe they actually can experience some type of “racism”. In some part of Asia, some people are not fan of white dudes + can be quite unfriendly with them But then it is mostly because of cultural difference + the way white acts in foreign countries.
@ffweeklypod I will say that as a white guy, I have experienced some racism because I got jumped twice as a kid by some kids who thought I was an easy target to get revenge on randomly for their race, but like no, white people are fine, and anyone who thinks otherwise has issues.
