‘Bridgerton’ actress Ruby Barker calls out Netflix and Shondaland for not supporting her when she suffered two psychotic breaks due to the show: “Not a single person from Netflix, not a single person from Shondaland, since I have had two psychotic breaks from that show, have even contacted me or even emailed me to ask me if I’m ok or if I would benefit from any sort of aftercare or support”
@PopBase girl why would they be responsible for getting you a therapist after you've finished working for them.... 😭😭
@feliciaismother @PopBase Because fans of the show harassed her. I get they may not understand her struggles prior to the show but these breaks happened because of the racist attacks by fans
@feliciaismother @PopBase Thank you because I was trynna see who lives in the real world.
@feliciaismother @PopBase Funny because my employer definitely offers free therapy.. mhmm Netflix can do it too.
@feliciaismother @PopBase Are you serious about this comment and lack of empathy?
@feliciaismother @PopBase Felicia why you tweeting from inside the BB house? 😂
@feliciaismother @PopBase It's called kindness. No one said they were responsible for her treatment but reaching out in to her would have been the right thing to do.
@feliciaismother @PopBase You laughing like ya said something is HILARIOUS
@feliciaismother @PopBase we dont know what happened to her behind the scenes..
@feliciaismother @PopBase ive worked a "regular job" that i felt like i needed therapy afterwards sooooo yeah. lol. i just wish we were more self aware of our emotions/body regardless of how much "money we make" which is actually not worth your sanity
@feliciaismother @PopBase My job literally pays for my therapist… it’s not uncommon and it shouldn’t be. EVERYONE should have access to mental health care and we do a lot for our employers. They can at least make sure we’re sane.
