I'm interested to hear about how you've been using Chat LLMs (like ChatGPT, Bing Chat, or Bard). This is for my own personal education. forms.gle/xXqkYyEjzCiD7t…
@fchollet 😐 Mainly random musings/curiosity, but the productivity potential for ramping up in a new language or large code base seem obvious
@fchollet Summarizing topics and reasoning about code mostly, but I’ve also used it for some writing tasks as well. GPT4 is impressive
@fchollet Interpolating between 2 seemingly dissonant philosophical points in order to 1 shot a dialect.
@fchollet Right now, to learn faster. To take writing that has a lot of jargon or is poorly expressed to the layman and simplify it.
@fchollet Most of my use is to evaluate its capabilities. Now also use it as a dictionary indexed by natural language.
@fchollet I use Writecream, a GPT3 platform, to outline ideas as they come to me. It takes a few tries but eventually it identifies everything it doesn't understand and coherently outline what it does. I find both invaluable. I plan to switch to 4 soon.
@fchollet I use it mostly to write better emails than I would do.
@fchollet Trying to ask it to discern the feasibility of reducing govt size to take tax stress from citizens and run the country more efficiently than personal interests of humans
@fchollet I asked Google and an Android programming question. I got ten links. None answered my question. Went to chatgpt and got a good answer immediately.
