Definitely sucks to see high performing individuals leaving Tesla. Not the first time it's happened in the company's history, but as it's true for all of us, all good things come to an end at some point. Tesla has history of reloading at all positions - let's see.
@farzyness 18 year tenure is far above what can be expected.
@farzyness I agree. I hate to see them both go, but getting new ideas and new thinking is critical to keep a business innovating and healthy, especially if the leaders are feeling burned out or just feeling a need for a change. Things will work out, just like when JB left.
@farzyness Better to cut waste when possible rather than to keep overspending.
Elon partying on the red carpet 2 days before mass layoffs & executive departures isn’t a good look tbh. I’ve heard stories from former Tesla contractors where he was also less than sensitive when other extremely hardworking colleagues were in the 💩 Possibly part of the Asperger’s, but he can’t use this as an excuse for everything.
@farzyness Not always true. So far, Zach's replacement has been underwhelming.
@farzyness I used to have a tinge of anxiety in the past. Not today. Elon is an amazing seasoned leader. He knows what is needed.
@farzyness Were they? Maybe previously but how about now? You don't know. Pretty amateurish reactions from most, both positive and negative.
