Let the building / rebuilding begin. I recognize that maybe I was trying to push through before, and that my heart really wasn’t in it. I had a ton of great opportunities come up that I wanted and appreciated, but wasn’t ready to see through. Happy to be 100% all in again

It made it all the way to 205Z’s early drafts. But was edited away during one of the developmental rounds, because the editor advised that there was a disconnection between that event and the events of the story. So I rewrote it to focus on Allister.

The Arrival’s origins date back to about 8-10 years ago when I started rewriting Dragon Wars as a novel called GemSearch. The prologue detailed the crash landing of an alien species from another galaxy. In that version, Patrick and Dolores were 16 years old.
