@BiblicalBeauty I believe my original post was not very clear in my intent, and I apologize for that. The point I intended to make was during Covid the balance between being open and trying to protect the elderly (who would come any time the doors were open) was a tough call.

@LoganGrafTax And today I am dealing with a bank employee who sent a RMD statement for 2026 when client asked for 1099-R on the account. I email back and say this is RMD statement, not the 1099. I get reply back (with names) “I asked two others here and they say this is the 1099-R!”

@ShaynaCPA I learned so much about love of country and willingness to serve watching my Dad. Miss him dearly, but am so encouraged to hear stories about young men and women who still “get it”. Tell your son there are a lot of us who appreciate his sacrifice!

@ShaynaCPA Thanks for sharing that, and for your son who is being prepared to lead. My Dad was a WWII Purple Heart vet of the Army who received his commission under Patton. I’m 65 now, but growing up he never talked about his service. He went in on Omaha Beach “D plus 10”.
