EPS is used in SIPs - the typical U-value of an insulated wall using traditional construction methods is around 0.18 W/(m²K) in contrast to the U-value of a SIPs panel wall with EPS which can drive efficiency as low as 0.13 W/(m²K). EPS is also more cost-effective than PU foam.

Congratulations to Ryan Grier on his recent achievement of a First Class Honours degree in Design and Manufacturing. Based at our Livingston site, Ryan has now been with EFP for 8 years having started as an apprentice and worked his way up to the role of Engineering Manager.
