He is shite. But this "he's not a defensive midfielder" line. It's true. He's not. But then what is he? People say he'd be great next to a DM. Based on what evidence? People say he's an 8 for a midfield 3. Based on what evidence. If a player is shite for 4.5 out of 5 season, under 5 different managers, they're just shite. Does one thing well. Carries the ball through a press. If teams don't press, hopeless. Even when he carries it, it never ends in anything because his passing is horrendous and his decision making is even worse.
