The “we hate cancel culture” crowd is now calling to cancel Liberty Safe since they gave access to the FBI to search the safe of a January 6th suspect. Liberty Safe gave the codes up after being presented a court-approved warrant to do so. Why are republicans calling to cancel companies who comply with law enforcement? In 2016 my home was raided and homeland security searched my safe deposit box at the back. I didn’t complain once or call for the canceling of Bank of America. Why? Because it wasn’t the Bank’s fault and I had nothing to hide. Stop trying to cancel people who are complying with the law.
@krassenstein I think we’re going too far with these Jan 6th sentence lengths, especially given other crimes that aren’t being prosecuted at all, but Liberty Safe had no choice here and are not to blame
@elonmusk @krassenstein And especially since it was a setup. Nancy Pelosi and her goons should be in prison. Free the J6 political prisoners!
@elonmusk @krassenstein Honestly, if the feds want in your safe, they will get inside it WITHOUT using a code. Not sure why they went this route, but they did. Scare tactic?
@elonmusk @krassenstein Elon, that's how the justice system works in general however most of these criminals are not getting the max sentence. The judge in most of these cases are showing mercy. This was one of the worst days in American history. They deserve what they get. It's the principle of FOFO.
@elonmusk @krassenstein Liberty Safe made the choice to stay in business….which ironically will lower their current revenue a bit by the “cancel culture” crowd ✨🌈
@elonmusk @atensnut @krassenstein Thanks, but disagree about Liberty safe
@elonmusk @atensnut @krassenstein Pure insanity.
@elonmusk @krassenstein Liberty had a choice. They just chose to be lazy.
@elonmusk @krassenstein Liberty was under NO legal obligation to give the FBI anything. The warrant wasn’t for the company. Yet they gave up the code anyway, just because the FBI asked.
@elonmusk @krassenstein If you buy their latest statement.
