Looks like we have a broody hen. Here's hoping it translates to free chicks.
There's a berry patch in there that sorely needs cleaning up. But that's a job for another day.
Putting in another bean bed.
Absolutely gorgeous day. No wind, sunny and warm. And very busy because we have five days of storms coming through. Ah well, back to work.
The furnace is officially turned off for the season. That is all.
Sunset two ways.
Mugo pine is finally done sulking after it's replant. Decent candling this season.
The sort of day where the weather runs foul until just before sunset when the sky preens all coy and cute as if it hasn't been up to no good all the live long day.
Going to be another day of howling winds as the warm weather moves back in. On the plus side, I did remember to tighten up the goose hut so the back wall doesn't blow out.
Seeded clovers and native wild flowers. Tilled a new garden bed, learned to use a new piece of equipment. Cleaned up the medicinal herb garden. Tilled a veggie patch for my retired farmer neighbour. Petted barncats and cuddled goats. How was your Sunday?

The Kwik Connect for the tractor is aptly named, the EZ Adjust tiller setting is a damned lie.

New Strawberry 🍓 bed this year. I fertilized and put down mulch today. Temp down in the 20’s tonight so I am putting a tarp over them. We plan to expand the strawberries next year with propagation. I planted these crowns a month ago.🥰
