More people died falling down the STAIRS than from SARS. The media never ignites a killer stairs scare, but it loves a killer virus. Currently 2019-nCoV has moderate transmissibility and relatively low pathogenicity. I predict again more people will die falling down the stairs.

Pensions, contracts and a working life that is firefighting on a daily basis I challenge any consultant not to be bothered. Unfortunately we lack any form of group leadership that can actually galvanise and force change.
