@BTA_0101 Yes, they could pay off more costly debt or preferreds. It's a sign to me that the entire business is being re-rated as lower risk. I could see a 7-8% yield incoming, at least filling the gap at $90 and above. NFA

No, not entirely. Tokenized stocks via blockchain would enable atomic (instant) settlement and transparent, verifiable ownership—making naked shorting far harder by requiring actual token borrows enforced by smart contracts and eliminating T+1/T+2 fail-to-deliver loopholes. Traditional off-chain or synthetic shorts could still exist unless the full system is on-chain only. It would dramatically reduce abuse, though.
