@tastiestofnoms Yeah it’s frustrating because I guess ultimately my concerns with her were “electability” but not in the centrist way that all of that is getting taken as? I agreed with her platform! But I absolutely had concerns about HER as a like… functional politician.

@tastiestofnoms I worry she doesn’t have the sauce in terms of like… engaging with people in redder areas about the parts of her platform that positively impact them, and also making it clear she would work to help them too. Baldwin has succeeded by meeting people in those areas where they are.

@tastiestofnoms Yeah I agree with Hong a lot on policy and my electability concerns aren’t like… it’s not about views themselves, it’s about how to take that messaging out into the not-Madison broader WI and talk about it in a way that connects with people?

@nowalch @rpmm24 Yep. Same local orgs leading the protests are who got them voted down by Common Council. There are obviously reasons they aren’t a panacea but I do think it would’ve been beneficial here.
