These types of questions are essentially aggregation and filtering queries, where relational databases excel. Therefore, our next step is to enable the LLM to decide when to refer to embeddings or the relational database, based on the nature of the query.

Just shared error messages with chatGPT so it can improve. In the fifth iteration it got to something that works. All happened in under 3 minutes.
