Belated trypophobia warning. Finished a sketch for this when I was still considering a possible adventure game featuring these little cat creatures. Makes for a nice enough bookend to the year though, I think. A sun setting on a long-dead world and a faint air of hope.

Played Swelter and it ended up being one of my all-time favorite fan made campaigns. The story and voice acting is what you'd expect, but everything else is just beyond impressive. Great puzzles, solid combat, possibly the most beautiful game set in Central Asia ever made.

I know that everyone and their cat says Expedition 33 is great, but will I still enjoy it if it doesn't immediately look like my kind of thing? I can't seem to get over the art style. And it's been awhile since I've spent more than twenty euros on a game.

@dervish_candela I can stomach mediocre gameplay, as long as the game's playable and has interesting things to say. Visuals less so, but if it's as good as people make it out to be then sure, what the hell. Besides it's not like it's hard on the eyes, just kind of… not my bag.

Думал, что вырасту и не стану как вот эти вот все из предыдущего поколения — буду поддерживать в себе интерес к новой музыке, следить за новыми исполнителями, исследовать разные жанры. В итоге вырос и слушаю на повторе Гребенщикова, Цоя и Шевчука.

@Odinawkwardness Но мне кажется, что ты в целом всегда такое любила, нет? Для меня это относительно новый тревожный симптом. То есть мне такая музыка всегда нравилась, но я её как-то больше уважал, чем прям слушал на постоянной основе.

Иногда даже просто англоязычного не хочется. Раньше культурный барьер между мной и, скажем, студентом из Огайо пишущим EDM у себя в спальне казался едва существующим. После рождения ребёнка, ковида, начала войны, эмиграции, тот же самый барьер ощущается каким-то непреодолимым.
