Wonderful few days at #jacquesselosse with another memorable tasting with Anselme. Highest of highlights were the 2008, 2010 and Les Chantereines and Les Carelles 2021 tasted still in barrique. Mind blown.

Was in the Woolpack pub in Slad (Laurie Lee’s old local) the other day. I kid you not, spotted a couple, he with a cider, she with a rosé. Inspired me to work on a new cocktail, ‘the Laurie Lee’. First prototype, with ‘help’ from @Annabuttercup , rank.

Forget HS2, just make the *!<#ing wifi on trains work! And improve the range of wines available by the glass. And ban people sat opposite me eating smelly chicken. And ask for proof of deodorant as well as vaccination. Rant over.
