Every day it becomes increasingly clear that we cannot let the terrorists win. This is a global problem which affects us and our enemies alike, and thus it is one of the few opportunities for global agreement. Israel is committed to destroying Hamas as it cannot tolerate terrorists on its border. The problem is that Hamas uses civilians as human shields. So why doesn’t Israel working alongside the international community create a temporary tent city in the Negev for civilians in Rafa? Once the civilians are safely removed from Rafa, Israel can quickly destroy Hamas without the risk of civilian casualties, and the work of rebuilding Gaza and creating an alternate governance structure to preserve peace can begin. What’s wrong with this idea?
@BillAckman Israel should have done this on Day 1. Evacuate all civilians before going in.
@MoaazBukhari @BillAckman In fact, they tried to do it, and were condemned for it
@davidboxenhorn @BillAckman They can still do it. Set up a tent city. Evacuate the women and children. Standing offer for everyone else. Then go in.
@MoaazBukhari @BillAckman They will do it. How do you think we're going to attack Rafah? And, you will see, we will be condemned for it
@davidboxenhorn @BillAckman Netanyahu did not go above and beyond for the innocent people of Gaza and for that he is a criminal.
@davidboxenhorn @BillAckman It's Biden who's keeping him moral. And the cameras. And the Israeli left.
@davidboxenhorn @BillAckman Does 40,000 tents sound enough to you?
@davidboxenhorn @BillAckman Not enough for 1.5 mil pop. of Rafah.
