뻘글과 눈이 썩는 글이 난무하는 하이브레인넷에 가끔 올라오는 좋은 글. 1번부터 4번까지 경험했고, 5번을 이유로 해외로 나왔다. 이제 7번(연구제안서 심사)도 한번 경험해보고 싶다. hibrain.net/braincafe/cafe…
자꾸 하루에 15시간 공부한다느니 18시간 몰입의 법칙으로 공부한다느니 유해한 노력 서사들을 보고는 하는데. 강도 높은 학습은 그 분야의 대가들 기준으로 하루 최대 3~4시간입니다. 8시간 이상 공부한다는 건 공부하는 척 앉아 있겠다거나. 탈진하면서 보여주기 식 공부하겠다는 말이에요.

보면볼수록 맘아픔 로다주 왜 저렇게 트로피만 쏙 집어가고 쌩 무시하고 지나감?? 키휘콴이 전년도 수상자고 시상했으면 앞에서 시상멘트도 다 했을텐데 누군지 모르고 지나갈리도 없고......;;;
서울 사립대에 교직원으로 있는 친구가 ‘남자 최초’로 육아휴직을 썼다. 친구는 육아휴직 당시 진급시기였고, 승진하고 휴직하라는 주변의 만류에도 휴직을 강행했다. 총장 비서실로 복직 후 승진심사에서 교수님들은 육아휴직한 직원을 승진시킬 수 없다고 반대하셨단다. 대학 조차도 그렇다.
저번에 보고 한국 상황의 많은 걸 설명해준다고 느낀 글: - ‘남자들은 왜 육아휴직을 안 하냐?’라는 질문 - 이래저래 변명하지만 결국 커리어에 치명적인 타격을 받기 때문에 못 씀 - 여자는 직접 임신하니 어쩔 수 없이 육휴를 써야하는데 - 여성의 커리어 끊김은 ‘그럴 수 있는 것’으로 간주됨
부유하지만 모두가 노예인 국가. 서로가 서로를 차별하면서 위로 올라가려고 어떻게든 노력하면서 타인을 혐오하는, 뭉치지 못하는 개미들의 공화국.
여러모로 이 정부를 상징하는 사진으로 손색이 없다.

충분히 의심 가능한 부분 같습니다. 다만, 생활방식의 건전성의 지표로 의미있어 보이는 <총 콜레스테롤과 하루 담배 소비량>이 ‘커피를 마시지 않는 그룹’에서 가장 낮고 'unfiltered 그룹'에서 가장 높았던 점에 미루어 추출 방식과 사망률의 상관 관계는 그럼에도 의미 있어 보입니다:)
왠지 커피 자체보다 드립 커피를 마시는 사람은 뭔가 여유 있고 생활 방식에서도 좀 더 건강한 선택을 많이 하지 않을까 싶은 편견이 있는데 :) 그런 차이로 인한 건 아닐까요? 🤔 그런 변수를 통제한 건 아닌 것 같네요.
