UPDATE: A 2nd arrest was made at the Decarie Mall next to the scene of the shooting. It is unclear if the arrest is linked to the shooting, but given the police presence & manhunt that went underway it is worth noting.

A #Montreal police officer was killed and another officer was wounded during a shootout with an armed suspect in the Côte-des-Neiges district. #Canada A civilian was also injured, and police later shot and killed the suspect.

Yikes, this definitely looked like the cop killed the bystander by mistake. Tough to watch.
