Former President Trump at the wake for NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller: "We have to get back to law and order."
@cspan Why is it that you consistently use “former” with Trump (I looked back on last 20 or so posts containing his name, all of which contained “former”), but rarely use “former” when referencing Obama?
@cspan While I agree with the sentiment, what exactly, other than tweeting, did Trump do while in office? Don't just say it, DO IT.
@cspan Biden nowhere to be found. He's too busy getting pumped full of sugar and Hunter vitamins for his fund raising down the street.
To understand the gravity of the Trump era, consider this: 420,000 Americans lost their lives in World War II, while approximately 400,000 died from COVID-19 during his presidency. Additionally, gun violence claimed the lives of at least 100,000 Americans in that same period. The Escalation of Violence Under Trump: The United States witnessed a significant surge in various forms of violence starting in 2015, reversing a trend of declining rates that had persisted for over two decades. Key statistics from 2015 to 2021 highlight this disturbing trend: •Firearm Homicides: There was a 55% increase in gun-related homicides. •Youth Gun Violence: Incidents of teenagers aged 12 to 17 being shot rose by 72%, and school shootings increased by 79%. •Mass Shootings: The frequency of mass shootings escalated dramatically by 106%. •Hate Crimes: The FBI reported a staggering 175% increase in hate crimes. Violent assaults also saw a noticeable uptick. While there was a slight increase in 2016 and 2017, these incidents accelerated notably in the last two years of Trump's presidency. Overall, total assaults grew by 124% between 2015 and 2021. Additionally, the number of police officers shot in the line of duty rose by 58%, from 279 in 2015 to 441 in the last reported year. These statistics paint a troubling picture of the state of violence in the U.S. during the Trump administration, marking a period of significant and widespread increase in violent incidents and crime.
Law and Order Trump’s first day in office promise to free “the January 6 hostages” who were duly tried and convicted is the act of a fascist. 749 federal defendants have had their cases adjudicated and received sentences for criminal activity on Jan. 6. 467 have been sentenced to periods of incarceration. These people were found guilty by juries of their peers. So much for LAW AND ORDER.
