I heard that Mark Merlino passed away, it's very sad. A pioneer of furry subculture, he was also huge in the founding of the anime's presence in NA. He acted as the American liaison for Godfather of manga Osamu Tezuka, bringing him over for US fans. Us modern weebs owe him a lot.

People who complain about cosplayers wearing bought cosplays ain’t it. Not everyone is crafty enough to make a full costume and cosplay is called “play”for a reason. Don’t shame people enjoying themselves. Cosplay ain’t a sport,stop making it one. Enjoy yourselves 💚
