The New York Times/Siena revealed that 50% of Americans intend on voting for the Democratic candidate running in their district. Only 39% plan to vote Republican and 11% are unsure. 38% of respondents stated that they voted for Trump in the 2024 election while 37% said that they voted for Kamala Harris. In other words, there appears to be a large swath of voters who supported Trump but have now jumped ship to Democrats in the midterms. And who can blame them? In an astonishingly short amount of time, Donald Trump has cemented his place as the worst President in history, blowing past the likes of James Buchanan and George W. Bush. Not only has Trump destroyed the economy with his pointless Iran War, but he gutted Medicaid by $1 trillion, continues to cover up his involvement with the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and is now focused entirely on burning $1 billion of our tax dollars on a vanity project ballroom. And that's not even mentioning his worsening cognitive decline and obvious signs of dementia. Meanwhile, the Republican Party refuses to buck their cult leader. The American people look at this party and see a coterie of cowards, co-conspirators, and pedophile protectors. 90% of the respondents said that they plan on voting in the midterm elections. With these numbers, that could prove disastrous for Trump even with the wholesale gerrymandering that his party has been carrying out in a desperate attempt to shore up their electoral prospects.
