Forgive my noticing this but the term “sadly” has been used multiple times in this press release. 1. I think we can assume any death is “sad” (to someone) 2. If you remove the word “sad” the release reads (a) the same and (b) is fact based, objective and doesn’t require us to nod in approval at your emotional state or empathy. It just reads awkwardly for an organisation that shouldn’t be “emoting” in this way, imho. Report it, investigate it, charge the suspect, hand it to CPS. Top marks, and our gratitude, if you are able to do this.

1/n So to Arborfield south of Reading (the name first recorded in 1166 as Edburgefeld, meaning 'Edburga's Field', Edburga being a widespread Anglo-Saxon lady's name) to cross the Barkham Brook and visit St Bartholomew’s which will, at some point, be submerged amongst 4,500 houses and thus turning south Reading/Wokingham into one suburban morass. Couldn’t leave a fiver for the roof repairs as the church (not exciting architecturally) was closed.
