Anthropic and OpenAI need to release a model soon. Cheaper open source are just a step behind. The next round probably beats fable and sol. Kimi or Deepseek or Qwen. Someone’s going to pass them. There are almost zero switching costs. Deepseek already has an open source harness. The US seems to be moving slower than China.

Matt, I’m sure you are a great coder. Unfortunately 99.9% of the world cannot code well. Most coding tasks are relatively simple for fable. For the general public, coding is solved. Anthropic’s needs to repeat coding is solved over and over. You don’t have to use these tools, but the rest of the world needs the help. Claude now does everything on the computer faster and better than I possibly could. For me personally, coding is solved, and Boris solved it.
