@oliveremberton @ChadScherrer However energy is calculated (network, storage,...); it's too much for a digital asset, IMHO. Also, Eth2 been in dev since 2014 and still has a ways to go and PoS may not be enough. I like the idea, but more renewable research is needed, or direct some NFT money to research.

@oliveremberton All your points on NFTs are great. However, you didn’t mention the amount of power required to maintain them. Until more of our power is achieved from renewables I don’t think the environmental costs are worth maintaining the rights to digital assets.
