@MarkusWerle @WalterBright @herbsutter @seanbax @stroustrup Hi Markus. Development continued via a number of different proprietary ports (actually that was my forte) for a while but not public ones. Unfortunately, there is not a full explanation, as things took many odd turns if you will.
@WalterBright @MarkusWerle @herbsutter @seanbax @stroustrup That's correct. The initial Comeau C++ was cfront based through exceptions, and then became EDG based after that.

As you've noted, I, perhaps oddly, fell off the face of the Earth. Turns out I'd gotten quite sick a while ago but luckily I am on a journey getting healthier.
@sanyo_ok Only ever supported Bourne Shell & C. We need to mod it for modern C compilers.
