@Upwork my account has been temporarily suspended for more than 2 months now and nothing has been done about the appeal I sent. In fact, I have sent and cancyel numerous appeals but still have not been attended to.

In 2021, I was: • building an audience • creating & selling products • honing my copywriting skill If there was a bigger word for overwhelm, I experienced it every day. Yet I still got stuff done. If you're struggling with overwhelm (& don't wanna risk burnout), read this: Before we get into it, lemme tell you this. Overwhelm stems from not getting the things—that gets you closer to where you want—done. Whether it's because you have too much to do, or you're lost on what, and how to do them. And when this keeps going on for a long time, you get burned out. So the only way to get rid of this feeling? Get NEEDLE MOVING things done. How? 1. Prioritize (and outline) tasks. Highlight your 3 big goals… Let's say they're: - Hit 10k followers. - Hit $3k per month. - Get 5.0 GP in school. Each morning, do at least ONE thing that moves you towards each of these. Why? When you start your day even an inch closer to where you want. You inevitably get the sense of fulfillment. And it'll cause you to dampen the lurking guilt, and see yourself in a better light to get more done for the rest of the day. 2. Talk to people ahead of you. You feel overwhelmed because you're stuck and confused. Talk to people ahead of you. Let them guide you on what to do and how. The fog clears, and now you can get what you want done. And yes, you can also talk to people who don't know a thing about you're doing. Give them the chance to encourage and cheer you up. It's a form of self therapy especially if you're not someone to journal and all. 3. Appreciate your growth. Crazy as this might sound. But most get overwhelmed because they hate themselves for where they are. And want to get out IMMEDIATELY. So they bombard themselves with so much work and at the end of the day? Burnout. I used to be like this too. But I learned with time that It's nothing wrong to hate where you currently are. But don't make a blind eye to the progress you've made. Appreciate your growth, and take it one thing at a time. In short, GIVE YOURSELF TIME. 4. Avoid comparison. Have you ever felt overwhelmed thinking of school? Hardly. Why? Because everyone starts and finishes at the same time. So you have no reason to think about (or even try) completing 3 sessions of work in one. But in the online space where everyone posts alerts and their lifestyle every day? You get angry at yourself — and try to bite more than you can chew. How won't you get overwhelmed? 🤷🏽‍♂️ 6. Do today's tasks today. This is probably the biggest factor behind burnout. Procrastination. When you don't get today's work done today? It'll overlap with tomorrow's. And then you have 2 days of work to get done in one... Which gets you overwhelmed that you have to spill again to the next day. And before you know it, you've got so much on your plate, you can't handle it anymore. If you're only gonna take one thing out of this post, let it be this. 7. Find a pack. Don't tread the journey alone. Not only would you grow fast on your copy journey—but you'll have "fun" doing it. And what's the point if you can't be excited doing what you want? So whether it's a group of friends or community… Make them a part of your plan. And that's it! ---- If you learned anything, kindly repost to help other copywriters.
