I would love to walk out of Nolans Odyssey and be absolutely blown away at how good the movie is. Nothing I have seen or heard about this film has given me any assurance I will be satisfied. Regardless of casting and marketing, the fact is my biggest concern has always been the handling of the mythology, and the portrayal of the supernatural. I dont want a grounded gritty reboot, or an altered perception of whats actually happening. If Nolan can actually do justice to mythology and magic and gods and monsters I will walk out of the movie happy. But all that remains to be seen.
