The idea that playing at a JUCO will “waste a year ” is wild to me. If that year can take you to offer after offer, like only JUCO can, how is it “wasted”? Especially if you don’t have any at the moment! Some of the thought processes in recruiting are 🤯 .
Everyone’s waiting… Everyone’s playing AAU… Everyone’s acting like the right JUCO won’t take you from 0 offers to multiple. Go JUCO… it’ll change your life.
I’m on this app and I see Juco kids from ever corner in America going D1-D2 out of Juco at a high rate. And yet, they’re families looking down on the opportunity to play at that level. So uneducated, misguided and uninformed about the climate of basketball today, and in general!
Playing JC basketball isn’t a lot of guys first choice but most times best choice academically and athletically.
In Jesus name, all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Go JUCO! Recruit JUCO! Hire JUCO! That chip never leaves a JUCO Product!
FYI: Going JUCO isn’t a indictment that your’re not good enough to be a D1 Player it’s a opportunity to prove you are
Great teams pass on toxic talent. Talent that, under stress, become coach killers, program killers, culture killers. Part of building a great culture is protecting that culture by who you let in. Talent matters but character is the difference maker.

That coach you ignored at one school can be at your dream school tomorrow!
College Coaches need to trust their eyes more often! Far too many college coaches are fearful of being the first to offer a player that is under the radar. If you trust yourself , think that player is a good fit & beneficial to your program, OFFER them!
Cam, where can I even start man, whole reason I started taking basketball seriously is cause you told me freshman year we was gon make a state run and look what we did, You were the spark of the school and the team, when you told everyone lock in we did, when you told the team…
I’ve seen a player score 1000pts in ONE HS season & not get recruited! I’ve seen a state Mr. Basketball winner go NAIA! I’ve seen a player average 5 ppg in HS go to a Power 5 D1 & play major minutes! Comparison is the thief of joy! Run YOUR race and walk YOUR path!
